Samir Hanna on Bringing Intelligence to Manufacturing – ITAP 2018 Main Stage

Oqton co-founder and CEO, Samir Hanna, spoke on the main stage at the Industrial Transformation Asia Pacific (ITAP) conference in Singapore last week. The theme of the conference was “Getting Real with the Business of Industry 4.0”, a topic closely connected with Oqton’s mission.

Samir spoke on Bringing Intelligence to Manufacturing – the significance that IOT, AI, and emerging technologies such as blockchain have for manufacturing, and the very real challenges that still need to be overcome to achieve their full potential.

Attended by over 15,000 delegates from 55 countries, ITAP is a conference and tradeshow specifically focused on the Asia-Pacific region. With multiple countries in the region launching initiatives to drive advanced manufacturing, the event provides a platform for a broad spectrum of companies to share knowledge on how to scale and sustain adoption of Industry 4.0 processes and solutions.
